Tesla FSD Now Intervenes to Prevent Collisions During Manual Driving

Tesla has expanded the autonomous capabilities of its Full Self-Driving software by enabling it to take command during moments of imminent danger. The system can now intercede and steer the vehicle to avert a collision, even while the driver maintains active control of the wheel. The new intervention capability arrives as part of Full Self-Driving Supervised version 14.3.9, marking an escalation in the system's role from typical lane-keeping and adaptive cruise functions. Rather than merely suggesting corrections or providing warnings, the technology now possesses the authority to physically override driver inputs when it detects an impending crash.
